Lectures on weekends
All lectures take place on Saturdays and Sundays so that students can cope with the demands of their work and daily life!
Scholarships of excellence
Graduates are rewarded with prize money at the end of the academic year! The amount and procedure of the award of scholarships is determined for each academic year in accordance with the principles of transparency, meritocracy and the specific purposes of the Program.
Expert Lecture Series
Expert Lecture Series with speakers who are distinguished market executives and academics, on topical issues related to the subjects covered by the postgraduate curriculum covers. A series of lectures useful for students both academically and professionally, and a certificate of attendance is provided.
Flexible curriculum (full – part time)
The student can choose the number of thematic modules he will attend by adapting his studies to the requirements of his daily life! It can choose to complete the program from 24 months (full-time) to 48 months (part-time), while it is possible to speed up or slow down the participating time at regular intervals.
Apprenticeships in cooperation with the European Reliance Asset Management AEDAK
In collaboration with the European Reliance Asset Management A.E.D.A.K. each year two traineeships (three months duration) are offered to students who have successfully attended the Value Investing course.

Distinguished market executives cooperate with the postgraduate program providing students with the opportunity for academic and professional development. The MSc Applied Risk Management – Internal Audit in February 2020 received a distinction by the Global Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Global), USA, and recognized as the IAEP Internal Audit Foundation Program (the only one in Greece to have received this distinction so far from IIA Global).

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens becomes the first Greek university to enter the 200 best universities in the world, in an international general classification of universities, with more than one criteria. More specifically, based on the results of the Global Ranking of Universities “Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities“, published on 28 January 2021, the NKUA is ranked 180th worldwide among 1000 Universities. It should be noted that the NKUA, compared to last year’s corresponding ranking, climbed 53 places (from position 233 to position 180). In addition, it is in 49th place among the 3262 Universities of the European Union included in this ranking.
“Value Investing” Certificate from the Ben Graham Centre
The Applied Risk Management/Risk Management postgraduate program collaborates with the Greek Center for Value Investing and the European Chapter of the Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing and offers students an innovative course, unique to Greek Universities, which focuses on the valuation of Companies based on Benjamin Graham’s methodology and principles. This course is taught by Professor G. Athanasakos, Ben Graham Chair in Value Investing, Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada, who is one of the most renowned academics in the field of Value Investing. After the successful completion of the course, students receive a Certificate of Specialization in Value Investing.
