The MSc “Applied Risk Management” with the specializations “Risk Management” and “Internal Audit” from its inception until today, has as a guide the transfer to its students of applied knowledge in modern scientific fields of economics and business administration. In a globalized and dynamic environment, the complex role of risk management and internal control requires extensive skills and knowledge of the financial, macroeconomic and regulatory environment, risk management techniques / tools / systems, business model, communication, human resource assessment, as well as internal control procedures for risky decisions, and is therefore strengthened and becomes a key to the viability of any business.
This applied knowledge acquired by students in the educational process, brings the Program in a particularly advantageous position, in relation to corresponding competitive postgraduate programs. The MSc “Applied Risk Management“, of the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA), more relevant than ever, with the respective directions of Internal Audit (distinguished by the Global Institute of Internal Auditors, USA) and Head Management and Risk (collaboration with the Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing), is the only Postgraduate Program in Greece that treats Risk Management in a multidimensional and holistic way.
